'''Kim Ji-soo''' (hangul: 김지수, born January 3, 1995 in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea), better known mononymously as Jisoo, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a ace of '''[[BLACKPINK]]'''. In 2011, she joined YG Entertainment through auditions as a trainee. In 2015, Jisoo made a cameo appearance in the KBS2 drama The Producers alongside label-mates 2NE1's Sandara Park and Winner's Kang Seung-yoon. In the same year Jisoo featured in several advertisements including Samsonite alongside actor Lee Min-ho, Smart Uniform, LG Electronics, and Nikon. Jisoo debuted as one of four members of Blackpink on August 8, 2016, alongside with Kim Jennie, Park Chaeyoung and Lalisa Manoban, with the release of their single album Square One. In Blackpink, Jisoo is the lead vocal, visual, and face of the group. Jisoo is the oldest member of Blackpink. Jisoo is the Queen visual of Kpop. While becoming one of the top idols today, Jisoo is also making her impact in the fashion industry. Just last year, she became a member of the Business of Fashion (BOF) 500 making her the only female idol to get in the list. In december 2019, Jisoo became the local ambassador for Dior cosmetics brand "Dior Beauty" and recently she's revealed to be the new Dior Fashion Muse. On August 18, 2020, Jisoo was announced to be the lead female in an upcoming drama "Snowdrop" to be released on 2021.
