Kim Minseo was born on August 12, 2004 in South Korea. She has lived her whole life alongside her family. Ever since she was a little girl, she dreamed of becoming an idol, and her dream came about while watching songs by Girls' Generation and soloist IU. She has been singing since she was a little girl, and the aforementioned idols are her main influences.
In 2019, Minseo appeared in the company's reality show, "Trainee Exploratory Life", which aimed to introduce the future members of nv Entertainment's first group.
In April 2020, Minseo participated in a photoshoot for the magazine "Maps" and shortly after, on the 23rd, an image with the debut plan was released, scheduled to take place on the 13th of May. The images and teaser videos were released until the 10th of May, until on the 11th a note was released saying that the title song and the debut stage would be released on the 13th and the MV next to the album on the 15th. woo!ah! officially debuted on May 15, 2020, with the single album "Exclamation" and the MV for the title song "woo!ah!".
