'''iKON''', is a South Korean 7 6 member boy group formed in 2015 by YG Entertainment. The group's name derives from the intent to become an 'icon for Korea', hence the 'K'.
Through a total of 2 survival programs (WIN: Who is Next? In 2013 and MIX & MATCH in 2014) YG Entertainment trainees competed to become iKON members. In September 15, 2015, iKON made their debut with the pre-release song '<nowiki/>''My Type''<nowiki/>'. '''My Type''<nowiki/>' reached the no. 1 All-Kill in the chart and enters the roof hits at the time of release and records the 18th Roof Hits. After that, iKON won various new awards at the awards ceremony, including the Mnet Asian Music Awards, New Male Award, Melon Music Awards, New Music Award, Golden Disk Awards, Digital Music Division New Music Award.
