Osaka born, the last piece of the group was a young, inspired, determined and self learnt songwriter. He took the audition at YG Entertainment Japan Branch to become a Kpop Idol, after seeing [[BOBBY]] from [[iKON]] - a senior of the same agency - performing on stage. He alongside Japanese trainees participated in YG TREASURE BOX in the year of 2017, consequently made into the finalists. On 7 August, 2020, he made his public debut with TREASURE.
The appeal of his prominent musical sense and artistic tendencies, from the Retro styling of his clothes, bedroom and work studio to his camera works, artworks and more so in '''''ORANGE''''' - his self written original track together with fellow group member, [[Haruto ]] - is Asahi's 'inherently distinctive trademark'.
