==Background info==
<br />Mashiho learnt dancing since young, he went to dance classes almost everyday at the age of five, and since then he has learnt ballet, b-boying, and many other dance genres. Mashiho was in few dance crews and joined dance contests before he decided to take the audition for YG Entertainment male trainees. Mashiho, or Mashi, has always wanted to become a singer, that's why he started young, and even took up drum and organ lessons.
Originated from Mie, Japan, Mashiho began his pursue of dream in the year of 2017. He went through YG survival show, YG TREASURE BOX, a harsh elimination contest between trainees of Korean and Japanese. He earned himself support of fans and recognition of the judges, he was talented and hard working.
Mashiho has a bright postitve attitude towards people and beings alike, he makes sure to care for them when in need. He gives bright smile and genereates bright feelings.
He has several nicknames: Mashi, Shiho, Messhi (from [[Choi Hyunsuk |Hyunsuk]] in reference of Lionel Messi), Mamo, Mamoing, Hamtori (from members and fans), Mama (his English name).
