Asahi is a quirky oddball of the group, as he has a very introverted personality and an endlessly surprising spurt of humor and jokes. This was characterized through his LINE character, a robot named Hi-kun, which was also a nickname of his .

- He doesn't like tomatoes but he asked a young girl child to try it in a Treasure map Season 2 episode.
- He told fans in J-line ([[Yoshi]], [[Mashiho]], [[Haruto]] and him) vlive, he likes would like to have long hair, as long as Rapunzel.
- He is one of lightest (weighs the least) TREASURE members, members joke his weight to be 20 kilograms, since he is lifted so easily.
