Bang Yedam

Bang Ye-dam (Korean: 방예담 ; born May 7, 2002) is a South Korean singer and member of boy group TREASURE under YG Entertainment. In 2012, he auditioned for the second installment of SBS reality competition program, K-pop Star, and finished as runner-up. The following June of 2013, Ye-dam signed with YG Entertainment and started his 7 year training to be a well round artist. Throughout the years, he made his name known amongst the general public with appearances on various programs. Anticipations for his debut from South Korean netizen was clear when he was top searched on site Naver in 2017 with his performance video: There' Nothing Hodin' Me Back. Far from the expected, Yedam chose to not pursue his soloist career, and instead participated 'YG TREASURE BOX', a reality survival show to debut the company's new boy group, there he met his now brothers and members of TREASURE.

Ye-dam made his solo debut on June 5, 2020 with the digital single titled 'Wayo' (왜요), announced ahead of TREASURE's official debut on August 7 the same year. The song was made dedicated to the fans supporting and waiting for him since the start.
