As a member possessing everything including charisma, talent, and temperament, Ryujin has soon been known as the backbone of JYP's rookie girl group. In 2017, she once caught the attention when appearing in BTS's video "LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reel".

Afterward, in 2018, Ryujin was remembered by the public through the audition program "Mixnine" (JTBC) and then she also ranked No.1 among female trainees. Ryujin is a member with a multi-color appeal with a bright appearance, her eyes exuding contrastive charisma along with her powerful dance skill.
