Maloi was selected to be a trainee at ''Star Hunt Academy'' in early 2019. In October 2020, she became one of the last 8 members of Star Hunt Academy Girl Trainees and was announced to officially formally given a spot in what would become part of an the idol group, BINI. The group officially debuted on June 11, 2021, with the release of their debut single ''Born to Win''.
