The group ranked as one of the top five most influential celebrities on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list each year from 2014 to 2018, and have been named "the biggest boy group in the world", "Nation's pick" and the "Kings of K-pop" by media outlets. EXO is the first Korean group to display its song on the largest fountain in the world in Dubai. The image of EXO was displayed on the largest tower in the world, Khalifa Tower, and this tower is dedicated to Kings only.They took the title of legends of Asia
The group were on an hiatus in 2020 with most of the members in military completing their duties towards the nation. Currently the members who are serving in the military are Chen Baekhyun and SuhoChanyeol. Baekhyun Kai and Chanyeol Sehun are about to enlist in the early of 2021 2023 with the group member count of 4 7 with Sehun, Kai, Suho, Chen, Lay, Xiumin and Kyungsoo.
