He was born on December 4, 2003 in Seoul, South Korea. He was signed as a trainee in YG Entertainment in the year of 2015. Doyoung has made his appearance in STRAYKIDS reality survival show alongside with few fellow [[TREASURE]]'s members, then as well as with fellow male trainees, back in 2017.

Doyoung is a mischievous, cheeky , and cheesy boy. He doesn't shy away from saying absurd things which makes him childlike child-like sometimes.
