Anecdotes

• MLD had watched a video from his time in MOVE DANCE Studio and got casted. He had joined MLD after 6 months later after he started learning to dance in his first year of high school. Gunwoo had auditioned for MLD in July 2018 and officially joined as a trainee in January 2019. When Gunwoo was a trainee, he thought a lot of 'I want to be such an idol' while watching the seniors' stage.

• In middle school he practiced boxing and wanted to compete in a competition, but his father didn't accept and want his son to scar his face.

• In middle school he encountered dancing in a dance club, and was interested. Gunwoo's parents were very opposed at first about their son dancing, but decided to go forward and do dance anyways. He would show his parents his aspirations by practicing and performing until they finally accepted and allowed him to dance.
