ASTRO (아스트로) is a six-member boy group under Fantagio Music. They debuted on February 23, 2016 with the mini album Spring Up.

They also have a sub-unit called "Moonbin & Sanha", containing the two members, Moonbin and Sanha, which debuted on September 14, 2020 with their mini album In-Out and its title track "Bad Idea".

Astro's name meaning is star in Spanish and it's name contains the boys' pure desire to becoming a rising star who will receive love from everyone.

Aroha

The name consists of three different parts, ASTRO, Heart, and All fans. The name is supposed to symbolize the love between ASTRO and their fans and was chosen by the members themselves. AROHA also means "love" in Maori.

Ro-Bong

RO-BONG (or RO-BONG-I), wherein the ‘RO’ is taken from both ASTRO and AROHA. Actually, a lot of AROHAs requested to name the light stick as ‘ROHA-BONG,’ but in the end, they named it RO-BONG, which makes both ASTRO and AROHA incorporated with the light stick name.
