Kep1er
Kep1er (케플러) (also stylized as Kepler) is a K-pop project girl group formed through the MNET survival show, Girls Planet 999. The final lineup was announced on October 22, 2021, during the final episode of Girls Planet 999.
"Kep1er" was a name suggested by viewers of the Girls Planet 999 show through the website Naver. It refers to Johannes Kepler, a German astronomer and mathematician from the 16th and 17th centuries who gave his name to his laws of planetary motion, among many other things.
The name also kept its relation to Girls Planet 999 by continuing the space-related theme from the show's name.

Anecdotes/facts
All group:
All the members like mint-chocolate.
They all want to appear in variety shows (especially Running Man and Knowing Bro) and do a lot of fan meeting and interacting with fans.
Kep1er participated in Queendom 2 not a long time after debuting and make people worried for them and criticized the company to let them join the competition. They just finished a survival show to debut and was out into another one quickly after and they just had the "first impact" album at that time so they get penalize by that. Kim Chaehyun was sick and couldn't practice with other girls for the final stage and during cover song performance Yujin slipped due to the bubble maker, Chaehyun and Dayeon falled out of the stage in the last chorus but managed it perfectly like the queens they are by ending the song in the right position.
Since the group is from a survival show their contract was for 2.5 years but 7/9 members managed to renew contract sadly Mashiro and Yeseo didn't cause the company want them in limelight (their recent girl group composed originally of 3 members) (let's support the girls even if they are not in Kep1er anymore ! Wish them the best)
Kang Yeseo:
Yeseo debuted at the age of 5 before she was in CutieL and Buster Beta (debut on February 1 2019).
Her moto on gp999 was "Lovely Yeseo twinkling like a jewel".
She acted in a lot of dramas and movies (Fighting family (2012), Miracle cell (2013), Sprout (2013), One step (2017), Diary of a prosecutor (2020).
She likes to read webtoon and to draw.
She is ENFP
Seo Youngeun:
She collects perfumes.
Was a backup dancer for Dreamnote.
Youngeun is a big fan of BTS and they are her role model.
Her moto on gp999 was "I am attractive seo youngeun with powerful dance and smile".

Kim Dayeon:
she has an Indian pimple which appears near her left eye when she gets excited.
Her father is her role model.
Dayeon thinks (and is true) that she has a great leadership which was proved in gp999.

Kim Dayeon previously attempt produce 48 and was ranked 70th.

Kim Chaehyun:
She is the center of Kep1er since she finished number 1 in girl planet 999.
At the age of 13 she dropped out school to become a trainee. She passed her exams during that time.
Was a trainee for four years in SM and two years self-training.
Chaehyun loves to speak japanese, playing guitar, watching videos and playing games.
Her role model is IU.
She is a fan of Seventeen, Day6 and Taeyeon (SNSD).
She debuted as a Music Show MC at SBS MTV 'The Show'.

Shen Xiaoting:
She is from Chengdu, Sichuan province, China.
At the age of 14 she was a contestant of the 2013 CBDF China Cup Tour Finals. Girl finished in the 4 place in modern dance.
In 2018, she joined Top Class entertainment.

Miss Sakamoto was born in Tokyo, Japan.
Mashiro trained at JYP ent. From 2016 to 2018 and then Pledis from 2019 to 2020 and finally joined 143 entertainment in 2021.
She has acrophobia which is the fear of heights.
Girl was voted as a leader in every team during gp999.

Former member of CLC.
One of her specialities is to speak japanese and she took JLPT exam.
Her role model is her parents.
She acted in Green Fever as Yoo-jin, in Nightmare Teacher as Chun Yoo-Na and So not worth it as han hyun-ah. And she appeared in G.NA "pretty lingerie" MV and BtoB "Beep Beep" MV.
Yujin loves to do pilates.
She was the oldest contestant in gp999.
