Idol recommendation - When there are frequent addition requests from users - Active idols who are currently promoting (e.g.releasing albums, etc.) - Pre-debut idols may also be added if there is high demand. 2. Voting criteria - If an idol previously excluded receives over 10,000 daily votes for two consecutive weeks, they will be automatically re-added 3. Addition Dates - No fixed schedule ➖ Idol exclusion rules ➖ (🆕Updated as of April 11, 2025) 1. Hall of Fame ranking criteria ✅ Solo Artists (not affiliated with a group) → Excluded if ranked outside the top 100 and has an average vote count below 10,000 ✅ Group → Male Groups: Bottom 3 groups ranked outside the top 50 will be excluded →Female Groups: Bottom 3 groups ranked outside the top 40 will be excluded 2. Music release history - Idols with no music release within the past 3 years will be excluded 3. Inactive Status - Immediate exclusion upon disbandment, withdrawal, contract expiration, or official retirement announcement 4. Recently we did a major update on our App and with that, we changed our name. Before, it was 'K-pop Star', but now it is 'CHOEAEDOL'! 1. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? 'CHOEAEDOL' is a the written version of Korean Word, '최애돌' (CHOE AE) stands for 'favorite' and then (DOL) stands for Idol. So combined together, CHOEAEDOL stands for 'My Favorite Idol'. 2. HOW DO I PRONOUNCE IT? 'AE' is pronounced the same as the phonetic alphabet [æ]. 'DOL' is just [d(ə)l] as an English word, 'idol'. For 'CHOE', pronouncing it as [Cheh] or [CHAE] will make a fairly similar sound. To sum up, CHOEAEDOL is pronounced like this. When will the reported posts be deleted? 1. When a standard post gets 3 or more reports. 2. When a post with 100 hearts or more gets 6 reports or more. 3. When a post with 1000 hearts or more gets 20 reports or more. 4. A post with 50,000 hearts cannot be deleted.
